Todd Greene has been playing music all of his life. In high school he won Star Firsts at the Wisconsin State Solo and Ensemble competition all four years. Todd won the Louie Armstrong Jazz National Scholarship and then proceeded to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston. Todd teaches 23 instruments from guitar to harmonica and most things in between. Todd plays out regularly and in his past lives has been a drummer for Vegas style show groups traveling continental US and Canada; the house band drummer for Jimmy Smith at the Lake Geneva Hilton; and the Principal Percussionist for the Milwaukee Opera.
Todd has also produced and recorded several music books for Hal Leonard to include three volumes of Metallica and Buddy Guy. He has sung commercials for tv and radio to include Sargento Cheese, and the Milwaukee Public Transit System, to name a few. Todd also opened and ran multiple locations of his own music schools before coming to teach at Musicology. The list of instruments that Todd will be teaching at Musicology include: Acoustic guitar, vocals, bass guitar, electric guitar, piano, keyboard, drum set, accordion, harmonica, and all orchestral percussion. This includes: Timpini, Contra Bass Drum, suspended cymbal, orchestral crash cymbals, triangles and orchestral tambourines. Concert snare drum. All mallets including marimba, xylophone, glockenspiel, all Afro Cuban percussion. Conga, super quinto, quinto,tumbadora, timbales, guiro, all rakes, and all shakers.
